Titan is Khadlaj’s grown-up masculine — the one people buy as a signature rather than a novelty. It is also the fragrance where the “is it a dupe?” question gets the most evasive answers online. We will give you a straight one. Browse the house on our Khadlaj Perfumes page.
The Verdict
Buy it if you want a mature cool-weather masculine signature with genuine 7–9 hour performance, and you are shopping under £30.
Skip it if you want something fresh for summer, or you specifically want a blind-test match for Stronger With You Parfum.
As a dupe: B−. Same skeleton, different signature.

Three independent sources give that exact pyramid, so it is solid. One warning for anyone researching further: fragrance databases also carry an older Khadlaj release called Titan with a completely different, fresher profile and poor ratings. It is not this fragrance, and those ratings do not apply here.
What It Smells Like
Bright and slightly sharp on the spray — mandarin and grapefruit with a peppery lift — then it settles quickly into the part that matters.
That opening is the least interesting fifteen minutes. It is fizzy and fairly generic, the sort of citrus-pepper start you have smelled on a hundred bottles. Do not judge it there. Give it twenty minutes.
What follows is lavender and suede with a dry wisp of incense, soft and slightly powdery rather than soapy or barbershop. The incense is subtle but it does real work, stopping the whole thing tipping into dessert territory. Then it lands: a smooth amber-vanilla-tonka base that stays close and warm, and that is where Titan spends most of its life.
UK wearers describe it as “nutty and leathery with lavender and vanilla” and, tellingly, as “a proper grown-up scent profile — blind-buy safe and signature-scent worthy”. That is a fair summary. It is not loud or trendy; it is the sort of thing you wear to a work dinner and get asked about quietly.

Performance
Seven to nine hours on skin, with moderate-to-strong projection concentrated in the first few hours before it settles closer. One UK customer called it “monstrously strong, long lasting with good sillage” — which is at the enthusiastic end, but Titan is genuinely one of the stronger EDPs in the Khadlaj catalogue.
Three to four sprays is right for an evening out. Two is plenty for the office. In cold weather the amber-vanilla base holds noticeably longer on a coat collar or scarf. For a £25 Eau de Parfum that is above expectation: it will not out-project a designer extrait, but it does not vanish at lunchtime either, which is the usual failure mode at this price.
Is Titan a Stronger With You Parfum Dupe?
The honest answer: disputed, and closer to “same territory” than “same scent.”
UK retailers list it as inspired by Emporio Armani Stronger With You Parfum, and at least one customer describes it flatly as a dupe at a great price. You can see why when you put the two pyramids side by side:
| Khadlaj Titan | Emporio Armani Stronger With You Parfum | |
|---|---|---|
| Top | Mandarin, pink pepper, grapefruit | Mandarin, pink pepper |
| Heart | Lavender, incense, suede | Lavender, sage |
| Base | Amber, vanilla, tonka bean | Leathery vanilla, sugar-coated chestnut accord |
| 100ml price | £24.99 | £112 RRP |
On paper that is close: the same mandarin-and-pink-pepper opening, lavender in both hearts, vanilla and a leather-adjacent note in both bases. The skeleton is the same.
What is missing is the signature. Stronger With You Parfum is built around a sugar-coated chestnut accord — that specific sweet, roasted, slightly gourmand thing is what makes people stop and ask what you are wearing. Titan does not have it and does not try to. Where Armani goes sweet and edible, Titan goes dry: incense, suede and tonka instead of chestnut and sugar. That is why the independent UK reviewer who compared them found only “faint similarities in overall vibe”. Blind-sprayed on two wrists, you would not confuse one for the other.
We grade it B− in our Khadlaj dupes guide. If you love Stronger With You Parfum and want the same thing for a fifth of the price, you may be disappointed. If you want a well-built mature masculine in that general style for £24.99, you will not be.
How Titan Compares Inside the Khadlaj Range
If you are choosing between Titan and its nearest siblings in the house, this is the shortest way to place it:
| Fragrance | Character | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Titan | Citrus-lavender opening, dry suede heart, amber-vanilla base | Autumn and winter signature, formal wear |
| Onyx Silver | Fresh-spicy — black pepper, bergamot and ginger over a warm resinous base | Year-round versatility, office |
| Fursan Brown | Smoky and woody — cade and sandalwood into cedar, patchouli and amber | Cold-weather evenings, oud lovers |
Titan sits between the two: warmer and more classical than Onyx Silver, cleaner and more wearable than Fursan Brown. If you buy one Khadlaj masculine and you need it to work at a work dinner, Titan is the pick. If you need something for July, it is not.
When to Wear It
- Best: autumn and winter evenings, date nights, work dinners, formal occasions.
- Fine: office wear at two sprays, cooler spring days.
- Avoid: hot summer days — the amber-vanilla base gets heavy and the citrus opening burns off too fast to help.
Getting the Most Out of It
- Spray and wait. Titan’s first fifteen minutes are its worst. Spray twenty minutes before you leave and you will be wearing the good part when you arrive.
- Moisturise first. The amber-vanilla base grips better on hydrated skin, which matters more with affordable EDPs than expensive ones.
- Use fabric deliberately. One spray on a scarf or coat lining will still be there tomorrow — a feature in winter, a nuisance on anything you need to smell neutral.
- Do not layer it. The composition is already doing a lot. Adding another warm scent on top muddies it rather than building it.
- Give a fresh bottle a week or two. If the opening feels sharp out of the box, that usually settles with a short maceration.
Who Should Buy It
- Buy it if: you want a mature masculine signature, you like lavender-vanilla-amber structures, you want strong performance without a novelty gimmick.
- Skip it if: you want something fresh and summery, or you specifically want a blind-test match for Stronger With You.
- Consider instead: Onyx Silver for a fresher, more versatile masculine; Fursan Brown if you want something far bolder.

FAQs
What does Khadlaj Titan smell like? A bright mandarin, pink peppercorn and grapefruit opening moving into lavender, incense and suede, and settling on amber, vanilla and tonka bean. Nutty, slightly leathery and mature rather than sweet or fresh.
How long does Khadlaj Titan last? Seven to nine hours on skin, with the strongest projection in the first few hours. It lasts longer again on clothing, where the amber-tonka base can still be found on a coat collar the next day.
Is Khadlaj Titan a dupe of Stronger With You Parfum? It is disputed. The two share a structure, but Emporio Armani’s signature sugar-coated chestnut accord is absent from Titan, which goes dry and incense-led instead. We grade it B− as a dupe and rate it higher than that as a fragrance in its own right.
Is Khadlaj Titan suitable for office wear? Yes, at around two sprays. Give it fifteen to twenty minutes to settle before a meeting, because the opening is the sharpest part. Three or more sprays is too much for a shared indoor space.
Is Khadlaj Titan more fresh or more sweet? Neither, really. It opens fresh and dries down warm, but the incense and suede keep it on the dry side of sweet. If you find gourmand fragrances cloying, Titan will suit you better than most amber-vanilla scents.
Does Khadlaj Titan smell expensive? Most wearers say yes. The lavender, suede and amber structure follows a classic designer shape and the blend is smooth rather than sharp or synthetic.
Is Khadlaj Titan for men or unisex? Khadlaj markets it to men and it reads masculine, but the soft vanilla and amber base makes it wearable by anyone who enjoys that style.
What age group is Khadlaj Titan best for? It skews older and is comfortably at home on anyone from their late twenties upward. Younger wearers who prefer sweeter, louder fragrances will probably find it reserved.
Is Khadlaj Titan worth the price? At £24.99 for 100ml of Eau de Parfum with seven to nine hour longevity, yes. The value case holds up even before you set it against the designer it is compared to.
Is Khadlaj Titan available in the UK? Yes. We stock the 100ml Eau de Parfum with free UK delivery, and every bottle is sourced from authorised distributors. Khadlaj only produces Titan in the 100ml size.
How many sprays of Khadlaj Titan should I use? Two for daytime and the office, three to four for an evening. One on the chest and one on the neck is enough most days; add a spray to a jacket or scarf in winter if you want it to run into the evening.
