Shop Bujairami perfumes in the UK at Khaleej Scents. Bujairami is an Australian-founded fragrance house created by perfumer Adam Bujairami, known for bold Extrait de Parfum compositions that reference luxury designers without copying them outright.

This is the most expensive range we carry — £49.99 to £59.99 for 100ml — and, we think, the best made. Eleven fragrances in stock:

• Fresh and aromatic: Tigris (grapefruit, ginger, vetiver), Rizz (mandarin, cardamom, vetiver), Hectic (citron, cinnamon, black tea), Lucid Dream (bergamot, cedar, amber).
• Sweet and tropical: Ibiza (lime, coconut, tonka), Sweet Escape (sugar cane, vanilla, tonka bean), Legacy (vanilla, praline, guaiac wood).
• Dark, smoky and oud-forward: Ya Habibi (mandarin, incense, oud), Mad Love (oud, rose, saffron), Roselle (cherry, oud, incense), Shadow Script (frankincense, suede, saffron).

Where to start. If you want the house at its most wearable, Tigris. If you want the dark Arabian rose that Riiffs Taif only promises, Mad Love. If you want the one people stop you about, Ya Habibi.

On price. These cost roughly twice what our Khadlaj range does, and we would rather explain that than let it sit there. Extrait concentration, denser compositions and a much smaller production run all play a part. Whether that is worth double depends entirely on how much the last 20% matters to you.
