Lattafa Asad Zanzibar Limited Edition 100ml EDP – Marine, Soap & Amber
£18.99 Add to cart
Shop the Lattafa Asad line in the UK at Khaleej Scents. Five fragrances share the Asad name, and they are genuinely different scents: two spicy-sweet winter bottles, one smoky evening bottle and two fresh summer ones. The name tells you very little, so read the notes before you choose. If you are new to the line, start with the original Lattafa Asad, the reference point for all the others.
The Five Asads at a Glance
- Lattafa Asad (£17.99): pineapple, black pepper and tobacco drying down to vanilla and amber. Spicy, sweet and loud. Fragrantica reviewers most often compare it to Dior Sauvage Elixir.
- Asad Bourbon (£17.99): cocoa, bourbon vanilla and lavender. The cosiest of the five, often compared to Azzaro The Most Wanted.
- Asad Elixir (£21.49): saffron, tobacco and frankincense. The darkest and smokiest, often compared to Hugo Boss Bottled Absolu.
- Asad Zanzibar (£15.49): coconut water, iris and a salty accord. A summer scent that divides opinion.
- Asad Zanzibar Limited Edition (£18.99): marine notes, a clean soapy heart and amber, with no coconut. The easiest of the two fresh bottles.
Which Asad Should You Buy?
For autumn and winter evenings, choose between the original (spice and tobacco), Bourbon (cocoa and vanilla) and Elixir (saffron and smoke). For summer, pick Zanzibar if you like salty coconut, or the Limited Edition if you want something clean and uncomplicated. If you are buying one as a gift and are unsure, the original is the safest choice.
How Asad Compares With the Other Houses We Stock
If Asad’s spice-and-tobacco warmth is what you like, Khadlaj Titan is a drier, more grown-up take on pink pepper and amber, and Khadlaj Shiyaaka Shadow runs grapefruit into patchouli. For the fresh Zanzibar mood from a different house, Riiffs Costa de Amalfi is a lemon-and-mineral alternative.
Lattafa Asad: Frequently Asked Questions
Are all the Asad perfumes the same scent?
No. They share a name, not a formula. The original, Bourbon and Elixir are warm cold-weather scents, while the two Zanzibar bottles are fresh summer scents.
Is Lattafa Asad a dupe?
Lattafa does not name an inspiration for any Asad bottle. The designer comparisons above come from Fragrantica reviewers, not from the brand. Lattafa and Khaleej Scents have no affiliation with Dior, Azzaro or Hugo Boss.
Which Asad is best for summer?
Zanzibar or Zanzibar Limited Edition. The other three are too sweet or smoky for hot days.
