Shop the Lattafa Khamrah line in the UK at Khaleej Scents. There are four Khamrah bottles, and three of them are built on the same warm, praline-and-vanilla backbone. The fourth, Waha, borrows the name for a fresh summer scent. If you have never worn any of them, start with the original Lattafa Khamrah: the others are easiest to understand as variations on it.
The Four Khamrahs at a Glance
- Lattafa Khamrah (£22.99): cinnamon and nutmeg over dates and praline, drying down to vanilla, tonka, myrrh and benzoin. The sweet, spiced original. Fragrantica reviewers often compare it to Kilian Angels’ Share.
- Khamrah Qahwa (£23.99): cardamom and praline with a coffee base. Darker and spicier than the original.
- Khamrah Dukhan (£19.99): pimento, incense and tobacco. The driest and least sweet of the four.
- Khamrah Waha (£37.69): yuzu and cucumber over vanilla. The only Khamrah for warm weather.
Which Khamrah Should You Buy?
Buying your first one? The original. Found the original too sweet? Try Dukhan for smoke, or Qahwa for coffee. Need something for summer? Waha is the only option. If you want two that feel genuinely different, the original and Dukhan are the widest pairing.
A practical note: the three winter Khamrahs are strong. One or two sprays is plenty indoors, and heat pushes their sweetness forward quickly.
How Khamrah Compares With the Other Houses We Stock
If you love Khamrah’s dates, Khadlaj Biscotti Date Toffee pairs dates with coffee, caramel and sugar and reads more like toffee pudding. If it’s the coffee in Qahwa that draws you, Khadlaj Caffe Latte is a milkier coffee gourmand. For a spiced, boozy alternative, Riiffs Elyssia Aura brings cinnamon, cognac and cocoa.
Lattafa Khamrah: Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Khamrah and Khamrah Qahwa?
Both share the praline and vanilla base. The original leads with cinnamon and dates, while Qahwa swaps those for cardamom and coffee, which makes it darker and less fruity.
Is Khamrah Waha like the original Khamrah?
No. Waha is a fresh yuzu-and-cucumber scent that only shares the name and a vanilla base. Buy it for summer, not as a lighter version of the original.
Is Lattafa Khamrah a dupe of Kilian Angels’ Share?
Lattafa does not say so. The comparison comes from Fragrantica reviewers. The two share spice, praline and vanilla, but Khamrah has no cognac note and leans fruitier. Lattafa and Khaleej Scents have no affiliation with Kilian.
