“Khadlaj never calls it a copy, but reviewers keep putting it next to Amore Caffè. If you want milky coffee and almond rather than bitter espresso, this is the one I’d reach for.”

Khadlaj Caffe Latte — A Creamy Coffee Gourmand in the Amore Caffè Lane

Coffee · Sweet Almond · Milk · Vanilla · Ice Cream · Amber · Almond Cream · Caramel — 100ml Extrait de Parfum, 100% authentic, free UK delivery.

Most coffee perfumes smell of the bean. Caffe Latte smells of the cup: milky coffee, a spoon of sweet almond, and a caramel-vanilla finish that reads closer to a café dessert than to an espresso bar. It is one of Khadlaj’s best-known gourmands, launched in 2024 and rated 4.17 out of 5 by more than 700 voters on Fragrantica.

It is also the Khadlaj people reach for when they want Mancera Amore Caffè without the niche price. Khadlaj does not say that — its own listing makes no inspired-by claim — but Fragrantica reviewers make the comparison constantly, and in our Khadlaj dupes guide we grade it B+: the right lane, with a crowded field of budget options competing in it.

Below we set out exactly what matches Amore Caffè on paper, where reviewers say it falls short, and which other gourmands in our shop do the job differently.

The Scent Pyramid at a Glance

Coffee first, but softened straight away by milk, so it reads as a latte rather than a shot of espresso. Sweet almond gives it a marzipan edge — several wearers pick up more “drunken almond” than literal coffee.

The ice-cream accord is what makes it a dessert: a cold, creamy vanilla texture with a little warmth from amber underneath. This is the sweetest part of the wear.

IIIBase Notes

Vanilla again, almond cream and caramel. The coffee fades back here and what stays is a warm, milky, nutty sweetness. Wearers note that on clothing the coffee lingers darker and more espresso-like than on skin.

Caffe Latte vs Mancera Amore Caffè — What Actually Matches

Put the two published pyramids side by side and three notes match exactly: coffee, ice cream and vanilla. Three more are close cousins rather than the same material. Only one of Amore Caffè’s notes, speculoos, has no counterpart at all.

Same lane, not a tracing. Buy Mancera for the original; buy this for the idea at an everyday price.

How close is it on skin? Opinions split. One Fragrantica reviewer calls it “almost identical to the OG for a fraction of the price”; another, Ryuseu, is simply surprised anything under $30 comes this close to a niche scent. On the other side, reviewer Palmer Eldritch finds it “lacks the coffee in Amore Caffe” and picks up a harsh, plasticky facet. That spread is exactly why we stop at B+ rather than calling it a clone. Khadlaj has no affiliation with Mancera, and Caffe Latte is sold as its own composition; the comparison is here only to help you place the scent.

The other thing to know: Amore Caffè has a lot of budget alternatives, and reviewers also mention Lattafa Eclaire, Bianco Latte and Khadlaj’s own Cream Velvet in the same breath. Caffe Latte’s advantage is that it keeps the coffee front and centre, where many of the others drift into pure caramel.

Performance — What Wearers Report

ConcentrationExtrait de Parfum
Longevity reportedCommonly 8+ hours
Projection reportedStrong first hour, then moderate

Figures are what Fragrantica wearers commonly report, not our own measurements. Most describe a strong first hour, a medium cloud for a couple more, and eight hours or longer overall — longer on clothing. A minority find it turns into a skin scent quickly. Start with three sprays and adjust.

Good to Know Before You Buy

  • It is a dessert, not an espresso. If you want bitter, roasted coffee, this is too sweet. If you want a latte with a biscuit, it is spot on.
  • Skin versus clothes. On skin it stays creamy and sweet; wearers say the coffee reads darker on fabric.
  • Go lightly indoors. It is an extrait and a sweet one. In a warm office, two or three sprays is plenty.
  • Cold-weather favourite. Autumn and winter suit it best; in real heat the sweetness can feel heavy.
  • Not the same as Mocha Latte. Khadlaj also makes a Mocha Latte. This page is the original Caffe Latte.

Every bottle is genuine Khadlaj, sourced from authorised distribution. We check every note list against the brand’s own listing and independent sources such as Fragrantica, and we describe performance from what wearers consistently report rather than from our own lab claims.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tap a question to open the answer.

What is Khadlaj Caffe Latte a dupe of?
It is most often compared to Mancera Amore Caffè. Khadlaj makes no inspired-by claim, but reviewers draw the comparison constantly. Three notes match exactly (coffee, ice cream, vanilla) and three more are close relatives; only speculoos is missing. We grade it B+.
What does Khadlaj Caffe Latte smell like?
A sweet, milky coffee gourmand: coffee, sweet almond and milk on top, a vanilla and ice-cream heart with amber, and a base of vanilla, almond cream and caramel. Think latte and biscotti rather than black espresso.
How long does Khadlaj Caffe Latte last?
Fragrantica wearers commonly report eight hours or more, with the strongest projection in the first hour and longer wear on clothing. A minority find it sits close to the skin, so results vary.
Is Khadlaj Caffe Latte unisex?
Yes. Khadlaj and Fragrantica both list it for women and men, and the coffee keeps it from reading as purely sweet or feminine.
Caffe Latte vs Biscotti Date Toffee — which should I buy?
Caffe Latte is milky, almond-sweet and lighter. Biscotti Date Toffee is darker and stickier, with dates, orange and caramel around the coffee. Both are £19.99 for 100ml Extrait.
Is Caffe Latte good for the office?
In small doses. It is a sweet extrait, so two sprays on skin rather than clothing keeps it close and pleasant in a shared space.
Who makes Caffe Latte?
Khadlaj, a UAE fragrance house founded in January 1997, with its head office in Sharjah and manufacturing in Ras Al Khaimah.
How much is Khadlaj Caffe Latte in the UK?
£19.99 for 100ml Extrait de Parfum at Khaleej Scents, with free UK delivery on every order.
