Khadlaj Peach Velvet — A Peaches-and-Cream Gourmand, Not a Designer Copy
Peach · Nectarine · Guava · Vanilla · Ginger · Cinnamon · Amber · Caramel · Musk · Sandalwood — 100ml Extrait de Parfum, 100% authentic, free UK delivery.
Peach Velvet is the fruity member of Khadlaj’s Velvet collection: juicy peach, nectarine and guava up top, a warm heart of vanilla, ginger and cinnamon, and a caramel-musk-sandalwood base that reviewers liken to peach cobbler. It is sweet, loud at first, and firmly a gourmand.
You will see it sold as a dupe of Sarah Baker’s Peach’s Revenge. We think that oversells it. On paper the two are remarkably close — nine of Peach Velvet’s ten notes appear in Peach’s Revenge — but the reviewers who know both are not convinced. The best-supported verdict we found is “not a dupe, but you can recognise the DNA”. That is why our Khadlaj dupes guide grades it C.
Buy it because you like peaches and cream with a cinnamon edge. Don’t buy it expecting a £155 niche fragrance for £24.99.

The Scent Pyramid at a Glance
Ten notes on Fragrantica. Khadlaj’s own listing adds an eleventh — a “cream accord” in the top — which Fragrantica does not list. We show it, flagged.
Loud, juicy stone fruit with a tangy guava edge. This is the phase some wearers find harsh on a new bottle; it smooths out with time on skin and after a few weeks’ rest.
Vanilla softens the fruit, ginger and cinnamon warm it, and amber adds body. Reviewers describe this stage as “peach cobbler” or spiced peach tea.
Caramel, soft musk and creamy sandalwood. The drydown is where it most resembles its sibling Cream Velvet — one reviewer describes it as Cream Velvet “with amplified notes”.

Peach Velvet vs Sarah Baker Peach’s Revenge — Close on Paper, Not on Skin
This is the unusual case where the note lists overlap more than the reviews do. Nine of Peach Velvet’s ten Fragrantica notes appear somewhere in Peach’s Revenge. What Peach’s Revenge adds — amaretto, orris, cardamom and bark — is exactly what gives it its bitter-almond, powdery complexity.

A shared idea, not a shared result. Judge it as its own fragrance.
Why a C? Because the people who have smelled both don’t treat it as a substitute. Our dupes guide records the fairest summary we found — “not a dupe, but you can recognise the DNA” — and one Fragrantica reviewer, Myri_Dans, calls Peach’s Revenge “so superior and way more enjoyable”. Other reviewers point elsewhere entirely: Alewo27 finds it “nearly identical to Paris Corner Peach Delulu”. Ratings are split too, from “beautiful fruity fall gourmand” (Kimpacha) to “a muddled mess” (Sierradawn). Khadlaj itself names no inspiration, and it has no affiliation with Sarah Baker. We quote the price only so you can see why people search for the comparison.
Performance — What Wearers Report
Performance is the least controversial thing about Peach Velvet: Fragrantica wearers describe it as strong, with several reporting eight hours or more and noticeable projection. The common complaint is the opening, which some find loud or muddled until the bottle has rested for a couple of months. These are reported experiences, not our own measurements.

Good to Know Before You Buy
- It divides people. A 3.12 rating means plenty love it and plenty don’t. If you are unsure about sweet fruit gourmands, this is not a safe blind buy.
- Patience helps. Several owners say it improves after two to three months in the bottle.
- Light hand. The opening is loud. Two sprays is enough to start.
- Not a Peach’s Revenge replacement. If you own and love the Sarah Baker, expect a sweeter, simpler cousin.

Every bottle is genuine Khadlaj, sourced from authorised distribution. We check every note list against the brand’s own listing and independent sources such as Fragrantica, and we describe performance from what wearers consistently report rather than from our own lab claims — including when the reviews are mixed.
