Khadlaj Fursan White — The Vanilla Powder Alternative Reviewers Call 1:1
Bergamot · Jasmine · Coconut · Musk · Almond · Vanilla · Cedarwood · Nutmeg — 100ml Eau de Parfum, 100% authentic, free UK delivery.
Fursan White is the Khadlaj people buy when they have smelled Matière Première’s Vanilla Powder and baulked at the price. It is a dusty, musky vanilla with shaved coconut and a dry almond-cedar edge — more “expensive skin” than dessert — and with nearly a thousand votes on Fragrantica it is one of the most-rated fragrances Khadlaj has ever released.
It is also the strongest Vanilla Powder comparison we know of. Khadlaj itself makes no inspired-by claim. The comparison comes from wearers, and it is unusually consistent: named Fragrantica reviewers describe it as “1:1”, “literally identical” and “almost 99%”. That is why our Khadlaj dupes guide grades it A−, one of only four Khadlaj fragrances to reach A territory.
The interesting part is that the two note lists are not identical on paper. We explain why that matters less than you might think, and what the small differences are.
The Scent Pyramid at a Glance
Eight notes across three tiers. Khadlaj’s own listing and Fragrantica agree exactly.
A brief lift of bergamot and a soft jasmine. They are there to open the door rather than to be noticed; within minutes the coconut takes over.
The signature. Milky, powdery coconut — shaved flakes, not suncream — wrapped in a clean musk, with almond adding a nutty, slightly marzipan softness.
Vanilla that stays dry and powdery rather than sugary, dry cedar underneath and a pinch of nutmeg. This is the “cashmere jumper” phase reviewers keep describing.

Fursan White vs Matière Première Vanilla Powder — Paper vs Skin
On paper the two pyramids share three core materials — coconut, vanilla and musk — and differ elsewhere. Vanilla Powder lists heliotrope, palo santo and lactones; Fursan White lists almond, cedar and nutmeg instead. Yet the people who own both keep calling them near-identical. The likely reason is that heliotrope and lactones produce exactly the powdery, almond-coconut effect that Fursan White gets from almond and coconut.

Different ingredient lists, remarkably similar result on skin.
What reviewers actually say. On Fragrantica, HunnyBunny2204 calls it “1:1 for Vanilla Powder to my nose”, kittybee says it “literally smells identical”, and sudeshnaroy puts it at “almost 99%”. The most cautious of the four, Rubydeminuit, still gives it “90% close”. The recurring difference, echoed in our dupes guide, is that Fursan White is a little less powdery. Khadlaj has no affiliation with Matière Première, and Fursan White is sold as its own composition; we include the comparison because it is the main reason people search for this bottle.
Some wearers also compare it to Zara’s Immortal Vanilla, which tells you the direction: soft, clean, skin-like vanilla rather than a bakery gourmand.
Performance — What Wearers Report
Wearers describe Fursan White as long-lasting and strong for a soft vanilla, and several warn to stop at two to four sprays. They don’t agree on an hours number, so we don’t print one. Several also note a fresh bottle can smell a little sharp or synthetic at first and rounds out after a few weeks.

Good to Know Before You Buy
- Less is more. It is potent. Two to four sprays is the range wearers recommend.
- Give a new bottle time. If it smells sharp on day one, let it rest a few weeks; wearers say it smooths out.
- Not a beach coconut. The coconut is milky and powdery, not suncream or piña colada.
- Labelled for women, worn by everyone. Khadlaj markets it to women, but the dry cedar and musk make it easy to wear unisex.
- A safe blind buy. Of the two Fursans, this is the low-risk one.
