Asdaaf Prive Rose: A Berry-Sweet Rose With Real Staying Power
Prive Rose is from Asdaaf, the sister house to Lattafa within the same UAE group, and you will find it under Asdaaf by Lattafa in our Lattafa perfumes collection. Released in 2023 as a flanker in the Ameerat Al Arab (“Princess of the Arabs”) line, it takes rose in a sweet, fruity, musky direction rather than a green or old-fashioned one. Strawberry and grape open it, a full bouquet of rose and white florals sits at its centre, and a creamy tonka-amber-sandalwood base holds it together. At under £14, it is also the least expensive bottle in this batch, and one of the most talked-about.
The Scent Profile
Top — strawberry, grape, orange. A jammy, juice-box opening. Strawberry leads with a soft, sweet berry note, grape adds a darker purple fruitiness, and orange brightens it slightly. It is sweet from the first spray.
Heart — rose, white musk, gardenia, jasmine, lily, ylang-ylang. A busy heart, but rose is clearly in charge. The white florals — gardenia, jasmine, lily and ylang-ylang — make it creamy and slightly powdery, and white musk softens the whole bouquet into something clean and skin-like. The result is a plush, pink rose rather than a sharp or green one.
Base — tonka bean, amber, sandalwood. Warm and creamy. Tonka brings a sweet, almondy softness, amber adds glow, and sandalwood a smooth woody cushion. This base is a big part of why Prive Rose lasts as well as it does.
How It Compares — the Honest Version
Neither Asdaaf nor Lattafa names an inspiration. The comparison comes from the community: Fragrantica reviewers most often compare it to Parfums de Marly Delina Exclusif, with some also mentioning the original Delina and Burberry Her Elixir. The shared idea is a sweet, fruity, musky rose. Where it differs is the structure: Delina Exclusif’s published pyramid is built around bergamot, pear and lychee, Damascena rose and incense, over vanilla, musks, moss and tonka, while Prive Rose uses strawberry, grape and a white-floral heart with a tonka-sandalwood base. So it captures the mood rather than following the same formula, and we would not describe it as identical.
Asdaaf and Lattafa have no affiliation with, licence from or endorsement by Parfums de Marly, Burberry or any other brand named here.
Prive Rose Performance & When To Wear
Fragrantica voters mostly describe Prive Rose as long-lasting with solid projection, which is not what you might expect at this price. Reviewers commonly report it lasting well into the day on skin and longer on clothes. Several also mention that it benefits from a few weeks of maceration after opening. We have not attached our own hour figure; the community consensus is the evidence here.
It is sweet and creamy enough to suit cooler weather best, but the fruit keeps it lighter than a heavy amber, so spring and autumn are its sweet spot. Date nights, weekends and everyday wear all work; in a shared office, keep it to one or two sprays.
Who It’s For
Asdaaf markets Prive Rose for women and Fragrantica lists it as a women’s fragrance. It suits anyone who loves sweet, fruity, musky roses — and in particular anyone who likes the Delina style but does not want to pay niche prices. If you prefer your rose dry, green or traditional, this is not it; the fruit and musk make it plush and modern.
How It Compares With the Other Houses We Stock
The most direct comparison on our shelves is Arabiyat Prestige Safa (£39.99), which reviewers also compare to Delina Exclusif. Safa builds its rose around lychee, hazelnut, magnolia and a vanilla-ambergris base, so it reads nuttier and more gourmand; Prive Rose is berrier, more white-floral and muskier, and costs about a third as much. For a clean, rose-free take on the white-floral musk heart, Reef 19 (£88.95) goes lily of the valley, jasmine and white musk — far drier and more understated.
Prive Rose’s Asdaaf Stablemates
If you enjoy the strawberry-and-rose mood of Prive Rose, its closest relative is Ameerat Al Arab Sugar Crown (£16.99), which leans harder into sweetness with candied orange, cotton candy and vanilla, a playful choice for daytime wear. For a different direction, Ameer Al Arab (£16.99) is aromatic and spiced, built on cardamom, lavender and saffron, and better suited to autumn and winter. Both come from Asdaaf, Lattafa’s sister house, and you can browse the whole line in our Asdaaf collection.

Asdaaf Prive Rose FAQs
What does Asdaaf Prive Rose smell like?
Jammy strawberry and grape with a touch of orange, opening onto a plush rose surrounded by creamy white florals and clean white musk, then settling on tonka, amber and sandalwood. Sweet, powdery and romantic.
What are the full Prive Rose notes?
Top: strawberry, grape, orange. Heart: rose, white musk, gardenia, jasmine, lily, ylang-ylang. Base: tonka bean, amber, sandalwood. Fragrantica and Lattafa’s official store list the same pyramid.
Is Prive Rose a Delina Exclusif dupe?
Fragrantica reviewers often compare it to Parfums de Marly Delina Exclusif, and the shared sweet-rose-musk mood is real. But neither Asdaaf nor Lattafa makes the claim, and the note pyramids differ considerably. Think of it as the same style rather than the same fragrance. Asdaaf has no affiliation with Parfums de Marly.
How long does Prive Rose last?
Fragrantica voters mostly describe it as long-lasting, with many reporting it well into the day on skin and longer on clothing. It is one of the better performers for its price.
Is Asdaaf the same as Lattafa?
Asdaaf is Lattafa’s sister house, part of the same group. It focuses on lower-priced fragrances such as the Ameer Al Arab and Ameerat Al Arab ranges.
Is Prive Rose for women?
Yes — Asdaaf markets it for women and Fragrantica lists it as feminine. Anyone who enjoys a sweet rose can wear it.
How much is Prive Rose in the UK?
£13.99 for the 100ml Eau de Parfum at Khaleej Scents, with free UK delivery and no minimum spend.
Notes verified against Fragrantica and Lattafa’s official store in September 2026; the two pyramids agree. The Delina Exclusif comparison reflects Fragrantica reviewer opinion, not a manufacturer claim. Performance is summarised from Fragrantica community reports, not our own testing.
