Safa means purity in Arabic, and the fragrance is built around one of perfumery’s most recognisable feminine combinations: lychee and rose. Released in 2025, it is the most conventionally pretty thing Arabiyat Prestige makes, and it does not pretend otherwise.

Top — lychee, red fruits, hazelnut. Lychee is the dominant note and it is prominent, so this is worth knowing before you buy: if lychee has never worked for you, Safa will not change your mind. Red fruits round it out and hazelnut adds a creamy, nutty warmth that is unusual in this style and does a lot to stop the opening reading as generic. It is the hazelnut that reviewers single out most often as the thing that makes this more than another fruity floral.
Heart — Turkish rose, magnolia, cypriol. The rose is central and classical rather than modern or jammy. Magnolia lifts it with a clean, slightly lemony floral quality, and cypriol — an earthy, smoky root note also known as nagarmotha — gives the whole heart a woody anchor. One honest caveat: not everyone gets on with the rose here, and a few wearers find it reads thin or oily on their skin. Rose is a note that varies more than most between people.

The published pyramids do not. Delina Exclusif, released in 2018, lists bergamot, pear and lychee; Damascena rose and incense; vanilla, musks, moss and tonka bean. Safa lists lychee, red fruits and hazelnut; Turkish rose, magnolia and cypriol; vanilla, ambergris and a gourmand accord. Only three notes actually appear in both — lychee, rose and vanilla. Delina’s pear, incense, moss and tonka are absent here; Safa’s hazelnut, magnolia, cypriol and ambergris are absent there. That is a shared idea, not a shared formula.
So we grade this Tier B: recognisably the same lychee-rose-vanilla DNA, executed with different materials. Where a house publishes a matching pyramid we say so and grade it higher; here the wearers are right that it captures the character, and the note lists are honest that it gets there another way. Worth noting that cypriol is a smoky, earthy root and does plausibly stand in for Delina’s incense, which may be part of why the impression carries.
One further observation appears repeatedly and is worth passing on: several wearers say Safa is close to indistinguishable from Armaf Club de Nuit White Imperiale, itself a well-known Delina interpretation. If you already own that bottle, you probably do not need this one — we would rather tell you than take the sale.
