Lattafa Fire On Ice: Raspberry Liqueur, Cool Rose and Oak

Fire On Ice is built on a contrast, and the name tells you which one. The “fire” is jammy black raspberry, cognac and cinnamon; the “ice” is a cool, crisp rose in the heart, set against sticky caramel and green moss; and underneath it all sits a woody, resinous base of oak, myrrh, cedar and ambroxan. Fragrantica lists it as a 2025 release. It comes in a 110ml bottle rather than the usual 100ml, and it is one of the boldest cold-weather fragrances in our Lattafa perfumes collection.

The Scent Profile

Top — black raspberry, cinnamon, cognac. Loud from the first spray. The raspberry is dark and jammy rather than candied, the cognac adds a boozy warmth, and cinnamon gives it a spark of heat. This is the part people notice across a room.

Heart — frozen rose petals, caramel, moss. The “ice” arrives as a cool, clean rose that cuts through the sweetness. Caramel keeps it gourmand, and moss adds a green, slightly bitter thread that stops the heart turning syrupy.

Base — oakwood, myrrh, cedarwood, ambroxan. A barrel-like oak and resinous myrrh give the dry-down its depth, cedar keeps it dry, and ambroxan pushes it outwards. It is boozy and woody here rather than sugary.

How It Compares — the Honest Version

Lattafa does not name an inspiration for Fire On Ice. Fragrantica reviewers often compare it to Kilian Angels’ Share Paradis, the rose-and-oak flanker of Kilian’s cognac fragrance, and that comparison dominates the reviews. The overlap is clear: raspberry, cognac, rose and oak are the building blocks of both.

Where reviewers see a difference, it is usually sweetness and volume. Many describe Fire On Ice as fruitier and sweeter than the Kilian, with stronger projection. Some reviewers are enthusiastic about how close it is; others find it more distinct, and a few feel it overlaps with Lattafa’s own Khamrah. The fair summary is a strong family resemblance with its own, jammier character.

Lattafa Perfumes is an independent UAE house with no affiliation to, licence from, or endorsement by Kilian or any other brand named here. We name Angels’ Share Paradis only to help you place the style.

Performance & When To Wear

Performance at a Glance
Based on the pattern in Fragrantica reviews — not our own figures
LONGEVITY · long-lasting — reviewers report 6–14 hours
SILLAGE · strong — many describe it as room-filling
OFFICE SAFE · not really — sweet, boozy and loud
VERSATILITY · autumn and winter evenings
BEST SEASONS
Winter ●●●Autumn ●●●Spring ●○○Summer ●○○

Fragrantica reviewers report six to fourteen hours, and several say performance improves noticeably once the bottle has rested. Projection is strong; multiple reviewers describe it filling a room. Two or three sprays is plenty. Like several sweet Lattafa releases, it can come across as sharp or polarising on the very first spray from a fresh bottle, and reviewers say it changes after a period of maceration.

It is a cold-weather fragrance. Reviewers put it mainly in autumn and winter, and there is some debate about whether it works in warmer weather. We would keep it for evenings, dinners and nights out.

Who It’s For

Fire On Ice is for people who enjoy sweet, boozy fragrances with plenty of presence, and who like the Angels’ Share style but not the price. It is listed as unisex, and the rose and oak keep it grown-up enough for anyone.

Skip it if you prefer fresh, quiet or dry scents; this is sweet and it is loud. If you already own Khamrah and love it, some reviewers feel this covers similar ground, so it is worth knowing before you buy both.

How It Compares With the Other Houses We Stock

The nearest neighbour is Khadlaj Onyx Gold (£27.99), another boozy cold-weather fragrance with myrrh in the base. Onyx Gold uses rum, bitter orange, ginger and dried fruits over sandalwood, osmanthus, vanilla and tonka, so it reads as a spiced, resinous amber; Fire On Ice is fruitier, with raspberry and rose, and woodier, with oak and cedar.

If it is the raspberry you like and you want something lighter for daytime, Khadlaj Ria (£24.99) opens on raspberry, cherry, strawberry and mandarin over grapefruit and musk, finishing on patchouli and blackcurrant. It is fresh and playful, with no booze and much less weight.

If You Like Fire On Ice, Try…

Raspberry links Fire On Ice to two other Lattafa bottles. Al Qiam Gold (£24.99) sets raspberry against saffron and leather, drier and more spiced than the cognac-rose pairing here. King of Arabia (Pride) (£34.99) also teams raspberry with leather, softened by floral osmanthus. If the boozy cognac is what you love, Teriaq Intense (£33.99) offers plum liquor with saffron and cinnamon, a deeper choice for winter nights. There’s plenty more in our Lattafa perfumes range.

Lattafa Fire On Ice FAQs

What does Lattafa Fire On Ice smell like?

Boozy cognac and jammy black raspberry with a cinnamon spark, then a cool rose against caramel and moss, drying down to oak, myrrh, cedar and ambroxan. Sweet, alcoholic and woody, with a deliberate hot-and-cold contrast.

What are the full Fire On Ice notes?

Top: black raspberry, cinnamon, cognac. Heart: frozen rose petals, caramel, moss. Base: oakwood, myrrh, cedarwood, ambroxan. Lattafa’s listing and Fragrantica agree on this pyramid.

Is Fire On Ice a dupe of Kilian Angels’ Share Paradis?

Lattafa does not say so, but Fragrantica reviewers often compare it to Kilian Angels’ Share Paradis, because both are built on raspberry, cognac, rose and oak. Many find Fire On Ice fruitier, sweeter and louder. A close relative rather than an exact copy. Lattafa has no affiliation with Kilian.

How long does Fire On Ice last?

Fragrantica reviewers report six to fourteen hours, with strong projection, and say performance improves after the bottle has rested.

Is Fire On Ice for men or women?

Both. Lattafa and Fragrantica list it as unisex.

How much is Lattafa Fire On Ice in the UK?

£28.99 for the 110ml Eau de Parfum at Khaleej Scents, with free UK delivery and no minimum spend.

Is it called Fire On Ice or Ice On Fire?

The correct name is Fire On Ice. “Ice On Fire” is a common mistyping and refers to the same fragrance.

Notes verified against Fragrantica and Lattafa’s own product listing in September 2026; the two agree. Launch year is from Fragrantica, which shows no perfumer. Performance reflects the pattern across Fragrantica reviews, not our own measurements. The Angels’ Share Paradis comparison is reviewers’, not the brand’s.
