Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan Untamed: Cinnamon, Burnt Caramel and Frankincense
Untamed is the third and newest Qaed Al Fursan, and the only one built for winter. It opens properly spiced — cinnamon and nutmeg up front, green cardamom lifting them, and a clean line of mandarin cutting through so it never feels like a spice jar. The heart is where it gets interesting: caramel arrives dark and slightly burnt rather than sugary, and just as it threatens to become a dessert, lavender, clary sage, geranium and cypress pull it back into aromatic territory. The base is resinous and serious: olibanum (frankincense), labdanum and amber, with cedarwood and vetiver keeping it dry. Lattafa calls it a bold, warm and spicy blend, and that is exactly how it wears. Released in 2025, it sits in our Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan collection within the wider Lattafa perfumes range.
The Scent Profile
Top — cinnamon, mandarin, cardamom, nutmeg. Warm baking spice with a citrus edge. Cinnamon is forward and does not whisper, cardamom adds a cool green lift, and mandarin keeps it bright. If cinnamon has ever given you a headache in a fragrance, know that it leads here.
Heart — caramel, lavender, clary sage, geranium, cypress. The clever tension. Dark caramel supplies sweetness, while lavender, sage, geranium and cypress give an herbal, almost barbershop dryness that stops it tipping into gourmand. It is this balance that makes Untamed wearable rather than sticky.
Base — amber, cedarwood, olibanum, vetiver, labdanum. Resinous, smoky and long. Frankincense brings a cool, dry smoke, labdanum and amber a sticky warmth, and cedar and vetiver the dry woody backbone.
How Untamed Compares to Versace Eros Najim — the Honest Version
Lattafa’s own copy does not name a designer inspiration. The comparison comes from the community: Fragrantica reviewers often compare it to Versace Eros Najim, the caramel-cardamom-incense flanker that launched as a Middle East exclusive, and describe Untamed as a budget-friendly alternative. Some also mention the regular Versace Eros and Burberry Hero.
We will not repeat reviewer percentages, but the reason for the comparison is visible in the notes: mandarin, cardamom, clary sage, caramel, cedarwood, vetiver and incense appear in both. The key difference is what Untamed leaves out. Reviewers note it lacks Najim’s smokiness, and its pyramid has no oud; in its place is a lavender-geranium-cypress accord, which makes Untamed drier, more herbal and more aromatic than the Versace. If Najim’s oud is what you love, it is not here. If its caramel-spice-incense mood is what you are after, Untamed gets you a long way there.

Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan Untamed Performance & When To Wear
Untamed is rated 4.26 out of 5 from around 1,000 votes on its Fragrantica page. We could not retrieve the longevity and sillage vote breakdown, so we will not quote percentages. Written reviews broadly praise its longevity and projection for the price, and several say it benefits from a few weeks of rest after opening.
This is a cold-weather fragrance. Cinnamon, caramel and frankincense come alive in autumn and winter air and turn heavy in heat. Evenings, dinners, weekends in a wool coat — that is its territory. In an office, keep it to a single spray.
Who It’s For & Styling
Untamed is for anyone who loves warm baking spice — cinnamon buns, mulled wine, chai — and wants it with a resinous, grown-up edge. It is the wrong choice if cinnamon has ever bothered you in a fragrance. Fragrantica and Lattafa list it for women and men, and we stock it as unisex, though the herbal-resinous structure wears on the masculine side.
Styling tip: put one spray on a scarf or coat collar. The frankincense and amber hold beautifully on wool, and fabric softens the cinnamon opening.
How Untamed Compares With the Other Houses We Stock
For a similar spice-meets-resin idea at a higher level, Bujairami Hectic (£54.99) combines citrus, cinnamon, ginger and neroli with black tea, guaiac wood and olibanum. Both use cinnamon and frankincense; Hectic is fresher, lighter and more daytime, while Untamed is sweeter and more wintry thanks to the caramel.
If it is the cinnamon-and-warmth you want in a more obviously gourmand form, Riiffs Elyssia Aura (£29.99) runs cinnamon, orange and nutmeg into cognac, cocoa and vanilla. Aura is boozier and more dessert-like; Untamed stays drier and more aromatic.
Untamed and the Other Qaed Al Fursans
Untamed is the winter bottle of the three. If you want something for warmer days in the same bottle, Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited (£12.99, reduced from £22.99) is coconut, pineapple and frangipani. The original Qaed Al Fursan (£13.59) is pineapple, saffron and oud: fruitier than Untamed, but still with an Arabian edge. See all three together on our Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan page.
Price, Size & What You Get
Untamed comes in 90ml, like the rest of the Qaed Al Fursan line. At £11.99 it works out at about 13p per millilitre — one of the lowest per-millilitre prices in our entire range.

Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan Untamed FAQs
What does Qaed Al Fursan Untamed smell like?
Warm spice and burnt caramel with a herbal edge. Cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg and mandarin open it; caramel, lavender, clary sage, geranium and cypress form the heart; and frankincense, labdanum, amber, cedar and vetiver finish it. Spiced, resinous and wintry.
What are the full notes?
Top: cinnamon, mandarin, cardamom, nutmeg. Heart: caramel, lavender, clary sage, geranium, cypress. Base: amber, cedarwood, olibanum, vetiver, labdanum. Fragrantica and Lattafa’s site agree on all fourteen.
Is Untamed a Versace Eros Najim dupe?
Lattafa does not claim so. Fragrantica reviewers often compare it to Eros Najim and call it a budget-friendly alternative, noting that it lacks Najim’s smokiness. It shares much of Najim’s caramel-cardamom-incense frame but has no oud, using a lavender-geranium-cypress accord instead. Lattafa has no affiliation with Versace.
How long does Untamed last?
Fragrantica reviewers generally praise its longevity and projection for the price, and some say it improves after resting. We could not access the vote breakdown, so we will not quote hours.
Is Untamed for men or women?
Fragrantica and Lattafa list it for women and men, and we stock it as unisex. The herbal-resinous character leans masculine in wear.
How much is Qaed Al Fursan Untamed in the UK?
£11.99 for the 90ml Eau de Parfum at Khaleej Scents, with free UK delivery and no minimum spend.
Is the cinnamon strong?
Yes — it leads the opening and is noticeable for the first stretch of wear. Most people find it warm and moreish; if cinnamon has ever given you a headache, this is not the bottle for you.
Notes verified against Fragrantica and lattafa.com in September 2026; both list the same fourteen notes, and Fragrantica gives a 2025 launch. The Eros Najim comparison reflects Fragrantica reviewer opinion only; we have not repeated reviewer percentage claims. Fragrantica’s vote breakdown was not available to us, so performance is summarised qualitatively. Written by Shaheen Shah Abrar, Khaleej Scents.
