Lattafa Yara Elixir: Strawberry, Toasted Marshmallow and Caramel
Yara Elixir takes the soft pink Yara idea into dessert territory. The first spray is ripe, syrupy strawberry with a warm, slightly singed marshmallow edge, which is Lattafa’s “strawberry s’mores” note, and black currant cuts through with some welcome tartness. Jasmine and orange blossom follow, reading creamy rather than bright, and it settles into a long vanilla-caramel dry-down warmed by amber and smoothed by musk. It’s the deepest, sweetest bottle in the Lattafa Yara line and the one for cold nights in our Lattafa perfumes range.
The Scent Profile
Top: strawberry s’mores, black currant. Think strawberry jam on a toasted marshmallow. It’s jammy rather than fresh-picked, with a faint caramelised, smoky edge. Black currant adds a sharp, slightly green tartness that keeps the opening lively. A few wearers find it a touch sharp on their skin.
Heart: jasmine, orange blossom. Two florals, both softened by the sweetness around them. Jasmine turns creamy and orange blossom adds a gentle, powdery glow. This is the most grown-up phase of the wear.
Base: vanilla, caramel, amber, musk. The landing, and the longest part of the wear. Vanilla and caramel lead, amber warms and musk rounds the edges. Some Fragrantica reviewers pick up a faint smoky or burnt-sugar note here, which fits the s’mores theme.
How Yara Elixir Compares to Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow
Lattafa doesn’t name an inspiration for Yara Elixir. The comparison comes from the community: Fragrantica reviewers often compare it to Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81, along with the original Yara, Yara Candy and a handful of others.
The overlap is real. Both are pink, strawberry-led gourmands with orange blossom and a vanilla-amber-musk finish. The differences matter, though. Yum Boujee Marshmallow is fluffier and lighter, built around marshmallow and coconut. Yara Elixir drops the coconut, adds black currant and jasmine, and pushes harder into caramel, so it reads darker, warmer and more like a toasted dessert. If it’s the airy marshmallow you love about the Kayali, Elixir won’t give you that exactly. If it’s the strawberry-vanilla sweetness, it’s in the same lane in a richer key.

Lattafa Yara Elixir Performance & When To Wear
Fragrantica doesn’t show a clean vote breakdown for Yara Elixir that we could use, so the bars reflect written reviews. Those are candid. Performance is the most common complaint, with reported wear anywhere from about three to eight hours depending on skin. The sweet trail is described as moderate and close rather than room-filling. Several reviewers say a bottle improves after resting for a few weeks, and it lasts noticeably longer on clothing. Data here is limited, and we’d rather say so.
It’s a cold-weather scent. Autumn and winter evenings, date nights, cosy weekends. Heat pushes the caramel forward quickly, so keep it for September onwards.
