Juicy red fruits are everywhere in perfume right now, and most of them end in a sugary vanilla. Khadlaj Ria takes a different route: raspberry, cherry, strawberry and mandarin up top, a tangy grapefruit-and-musk heart, and a patchouli-blackcurrant drydown that reads more fruity chypre than candy.
It launched in 2025 as a women’s Eau de Parfum. Khadlaj makes no inspiration claim for it, and — unusually for a budget fruity — wearers cannot agree on what it resembles. Some point to Dior Rouge Trafalgar, others to Burberry Her, and those who compare it to Burberry Her call them “distant cousins” because Ria dries down to patchouli rather than vanilla.

Ria’s Scent Pyramid

A bright red-fruit burst — juicy raspberry and cherry, a little strawberry sweetness and mandarin sparkle. Cheerful rather than jammy.
Grapefruit’s bitter tang cuts the sweetness, and clean musk gives the “fresh out of the shower” softness wearers mention.
Where Ria grows up. Earthy patchouli and tart blackcurrant give a fruity-chypre drydown instead of the usual vanilla — the reason it is not quite Burberry Her.

Ria vs Dior Rouge Trafalgar vs Burberry Her
Here is the surprise: on Fragrantica, Ria’s eight notes are the same eight listed for Dior’s Rouge Trafalgar. Burberry Her shares the berries but adds florals and a vanilla base. So why only a C? Because a matching note list is not the same as a matching smell — and wearers are split on which original Ria resembles at all.

What wearers say. On Fragrantica, KikiRachael calls Ria a “perfect fusion between rouge trafalgar extrait and miss dior essence”; JenniferLatifa hears “a cross between RT and Gris Dior”; Blayke is reminded of Rouge Trafalgar but finds the musk makes it “a lot more dense”. On the other side, SELFCARE_INTROVERT says it “opens with the Burberry HER DNA berries” but dries to patchouli instead of vanilla, and VioletScented places it “along the lines of Burberry Her”. Two different originals, no agreement: C.

Performance — Mixed Reports
Not our lab numbers. On Fragrantica, Ggaworowski reports about 8 hours “not lightly”, woodsfigtea gets “8+ hours on skin and fabric, even in hot weather”, and VioletScented got around six hours before it became a skin scent — but Sagexx101 says it “barely lasts”. Most wearers land in the six-to-eight-hour range; your skin may differ. Two to three sprays is the usual advice.

- It is not a vanilla. Ria dries down to patchouli and blackcurrant. If you want a sweet vanilla trail, Cloud Candy or Peach Velvet will suit you better.
- A daytime, warm-weather scent. Spring and summer, work and weekends.
- Rouge Trafalgar is by Dior, not Chanel. You will see the name misattributed online.
- Performance varies. Most wearers get a working day; a few get much less. Spray clothing too if you want it to last.
