Ramad Oriental opens brighter than its name suggests. Cardamom and pepper come first with lemon and bergamot, and elemi — a lemony resin — hints at where it is going. Within minutes saffron and cumin push through, patchouli grounds them, and geranium and jasmine stop the spice turning savoury. The base is two incense resins, olibanum and opoponax, over benzoin, vanilla and amber.
Why Amouage Outlands keeps coming up. Arabiyat Prestige does not name an inspiration; its parent company’s listing simply calls it “a bold oriental woody fragrance”. Ramad Oriental’s Fifteen Notes

Dry and aromatic rather than juicy. The citrus lifts the spice rather than leading, and elemi bridges the two so the move into incense feels natural.
Cumin is the note that divides people — warm and skin-like to some, savoury to others. Here it sits behind saffron, with geranium and jasmine adding a cool floral edge.
Two resins doing different jobs: olibanum (frankincense) for dry church-incense smoke, opoponax for the sweeter balsamic side. Benzoin and vanilla round the edges; amber gives the glow.

Ramad Oriental vs Amouage Outlands — Note by Note
Outlands has a huge pyramid on Fragrantica: more than twenty-five notes. Ramad Oriental is essentially a slimmed-down version of it. Of Ramad’s fifteen notes, fourteen also appear in Outlands. The one exception is jasmine; Outlands uses orange blossom and rose in that slot.

Outlands is the fuller, more complex original. Ramad Oriental is the same skeleton, trimmed.
What named reviewers say. On Fragrantica, Levent_ calls it “a closer, better-blended, and more refined dupe of Outlands… 80-85% to my nose”, SmellyMogger says it “gets close like 80 percent… in the dry down i can’t tell the difference”, and dognose009 rates it “8/10” close. MrBrian goes further: “I cannot tell the difference in the original Outlands”. Not everyone is convinced on performance — Bigsniffydawg says it “doesn’t come close in terms of projection or longevity”. Arabiyat Prestige has no affiliation with Amouage.
Performance — What Wearers Report
This one has enough reports to summarise. On Fragrantica, fragbuddy2018 reports “around 7-8 hours on skin and around 10 hrs on clothes”, dognose009 and Vaporized both say 7–8 hours, and SmellyMogger gets “8 hours of longevity with the first 3 hours of solid projection”. manvan gets “six hours on skin but 2 days on clothes”. There are outliers either way — ruben9125 got only two hours — so treat these as typical, not guaranteed.

- Two to three sprays. Reviewers describe strong projection for the first hours; more is not better.
