Then it warms. Orange blossom and red fruit arrive together, incense and patchouli push up underneath them, and the fragrance turns into something both pretty and smoky at once.
The dry-down is the most conventional part: ambergris, vanilla and moss give a creamy, softly musky finish that sits close to the skin. Released in 2025 alongside its counterpart La Di Da For Him, it was composed by perfumer Julia Rodriguez and comes in a 100ml eau de parfum bottle with a distinctive apothecary-style design that has drawn as much comment as the scent itself.
The Scent Profile
Top — spice accord, elemi, metallic accord. An unusual opening for a feminine fragrance, and the part most likely to surprise you. The metallic accord reads cool and slightly sharp rather than sweet, and elemi’s resinous brightness reinforces that. It lasts only a few minutes before the heart takes over.
Heart — orange blossom, incense, strawberry, red fruits, patchouli. This is the section that defines the fragrance. Orange blossom supplies a clean white-floral sweetness, strawberry and red fruits a jammy softness, and incense and patchouli pull hard in the opposite direction. Whether it works for you depends entirely on whether you enjoy that tension — some wearers find it sophisticated, others find it uneasy.
Base — ambergris, vanilla, moss. The landing is soft. Vanilla rounds off the sweetness, ambergris adds a warm salty-musky quality, and moss gives a faint earthy dryness that stops it becoming a straightforward gourmand.
