Lattafa Khamrah Waha: The Khamrah Built for Heat
Waha is Arabic for oasis, and the brief is exactly that: water in a hot place. Instead of cinnamon and dates, it opens on bergamot, yuzu and juniper with a little ginger for warmth. The heart turns green and saline with cucumber, sea salt, sage and a thread of powdery iris. Then, an hour or so in, the Khamrah family resemblance reappears as vanilla and tonka rise underneath, lifted by two modern woody-amber materials, Ambrofix and Akigalawood. It’s the newest bottle in the Lattafa Khamrah line and the only one in our Lattafa perfumes range that belongs in July.
The Scent Profile
Top: bergamot, yuzu, juniper, ginger. A cold, sharp start. Yuzu gives it a sour, grapefruit-adjacent snap and juniper adds a dry, gin-like edge. Ginger sits quietly underneath and gives the citrus some body. Like all citrus openings, it’s bright but brief.
Heart: cucumber, sea salt, sage, iris. This is the part that makes Waha distinctive. The cucumber reads green and watery rather than melon-sweet. Sea salt adds a mineral, skin-after-a-swim quality, and sage keeps it aromatic. The iris is subtle but important. Its powdery softness is what stops the heart feeling like a generic sport fragrance.
Base: vanilla, tonka bean, musk, Ambrofix, Akigalawood. This is the Khamrah link. Vanilla and tonka warm the skin, musk keeps it clean, and the two Givaudan captives do the structural work: Ambrofix adds an ambery radiance and Akigalawood a peppery woodiness. It never becomes a gourmand, but it ends noticeably warmer than it began.
How Khamrah Waha Compares
There’s no manufacturer comparison. Lattafa’s copy talks about desert heat and a “frozen breath”, not other fragrances. The community comparisons are loose. Fragrantica reviewers often compare it to Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau, one calling it a creamier take, and to Nautica Voyage for the cucumber-aquatic heart.
Both are fair as reference points and neither is a match. Le Beau leans on coconut and tonka, and Waha has no coconut. Nautica Voyage is a straightforward green aquatic without Waha’s vanilla-tonka dry-down. The honest summary is that Waha is a fresh-to-warm hybrid that sits between those styles rather than copying either. Some Fragrantica reviewers say the fresh top and sweet base don’t fully connect. That’s a matter of taste, but it’s worth knowing.

Lattafa Khamrah Waha Performance & When To Wear
Waha is rated 3.84 out of 5 on Fragrantica from about 1,400 votes, lower than its siblings, which reflects that split opinion on the fresh-to-sweet transition. The individual longevity and sillage tallies weren’t available to us, so the bars reflect written reviews. Most reviewers report good staying power for a fresh fragrance and a noticeable scent bubble for the first few hours. A few say the top notes vanish quickly on their skin. Expect the citrus to go early and the vanilla-musk base to do the long haul.
This is the Khamrah for warm days: spring, summer, daytime, travel, the office. In a British winter it will read a little thin.
Who It’s For
Waha suits anyone who loves the Khamrah name but can’t wear the original once the weather turns warm, and anyone who wants a fresh fragrance with a softer, sweeter finish than a typical aquatic. Lattafa and Fragrantica list it as unisex and it wears that way. If you want a pure, sharp citrus with no sweetness at all, look elsewhere.
How it compares with the other houses we stock
For a similar citrus opening, Riiffs Costa de Amalfi (£24.99) shares yuzu and ginger with Waha, then heads into clary sage and a mineral, amber-cedar base. It’s drier and stonier, with none of Waha’s vanilla, and a good choice if you want freshness without sweetness.
For a warmer holiday feel, Khadlaj Island (£27.99) also puts ginger and iris near the top, but builds around pineapple and coconut over tonka, sandalwood and ambergris. Island is sweeter and more tropical. Waha is cooler and greener.
Waha and the Winter Khamrahs
Waha is the only fresh bottle in the Khamrah line. The other three are cold-weather gourmands: the original Lattafa Khamrah (£22.99) with cinnamon, dates and praline, Khamrah Qahwa (£23.99) with cardamom and coffee, and Khamrah Dukhan (£19.99) with pimento, incense and tobacco. If you liked the name because of those, Waha will surprise you. If you wanted a summer scent, it’s the right one. See all four on our Lattafa Khamrah page.
Price, Size & What You Get
Waha comes in one size, 100ml Eau de Parfum. At £37.69 it’s the most expensive of the four Khamrah bottles. That reflects its newer launch and the captive materials in the base, and it’s worth weighing against how often you’d wear a warm-weather scent.

Lattafa Khamrah Waha FAQs
What does Lattafa Khamrah Waha smell like?
Cold citrus and juniper, then green cucumber, sea salt and sage, finishing on a soft vanilla-tonka-musk base. It’s fresh at first and gently warm later on.
What are the full Khamrah Waha notes?
Top: bergamot, yuzu, juniper, ginger. Heart: cucumber, sea salt, sage, iris. Base: vanilla, tonka bean, musk, Ambrofix, Akigalawood. Fragrantica and Lattafa list the same pyramid.
Is Khamrah Waha a dupe of anything?
No. Lattafa makes no claim, and the Fragrantica reviewer comparisons, mainly JPG Le Beau and Nautica Voyage, are loose points of reference, not matches. Lattafa has no affiliation with either brand.
How long does Khamrah Waha last?
Most Fragrantica reviewers report good longevity for a fresh scent and a noticeable aura for the first few hours, though a minority say it fades fast. We don’t quote an hour figure because the vote breakdown wasn’t available to us.
Is Khamrah Waha unisex?
Yes. Lattafa and Fragrantica both list it for women and men.
How much is Khamrah Waha in the UK?
£37.69 for 100ml at Khaleej Scents, with free UK delivery and no minimum spend.
Who made Khamrah Waha?
Fragrantica credits perfumer Jordi Fernández. It launched in 2026, making it the newest of the four Khamrah fragrances.
Notes verified against Fragrantica and lattafa.com in September 2026. Both list the same pyramid. Launch year 2026 and perfumer Jordi Fernández per Fragrantica. Designer comparisons reflect Fragrantica reviewer comment, not a manufacturer statement. Performance is described from Fragrantica reviews and its 3.84/5 rating from 1,415 votes; it is not our own testing. Written by Shaheen Shah Abrar, Khaleej Scents.
