Arabiyat Prestige Marwa — The Imagination Alternative Reviewers Keep Recommending
Bergamot · Lemon · Sicilian Orange · Ginger · Cinnamon · Neroli · Black Tea · Ambroxan · Olibanum · Guaiac Wood — 100ml Eau de Parfum, 100% authentic, free UK delivery.
Arabiyat Prestige Marwa opens like a Mediterranean morning, with Calabrian bergamot, lemon and Sicilian orange arriving together, bright and clean rather than sharp. Nigerian ginger adds a fizzy lift, Ceylon cinnamon a gentle warmth, and Tunisian neroli keeps a thread of freshness running through. The drydown is where Marwa earns its reputation: Chinese black tea, ambroxan, olibanum and guaiac wood make something softly smoky, resinous and polished.
Arabiyat Prestige does not name an inspiration, but its reviewers do. On Fragrantica, where Marwa has more than 3,000 votes, the comparison that comes up again and again is Louis Vuitton Imagination. Fragrantica’s note lists for the two are almost identical. Below, we show what matches, what doesn’t, and what named reviewers actually said.
Within the house, Marwa is the polished one: the fragrance you wear to smell put-together rather than noticed.
Marwa’s Notes, Tier by Tier
Ten notes as Fragrantica lists them. The official Arabiyat Prestige listing gives a shorter, slightly different version; we set out both below.
Three citrus notes with different jobs: bergamot gives the bitter-floral edge, lemon the sparkle, and orange the roundness that stops it turning astringent. It reads clean and slightly soapy, in the best sense.
Ginger is the note people notice: fizzy, almost carbonated, and briefly sharp for some wearers. Cinnamon is used for warmth, not bakery, and neroli bridges the citrus above and the spice below.
This makes Marwa smell more expensive than it is. Black tea is dry and faintly syrupy, olibanum adds a wisp of incense, guaiac wood a smooth, slightly tarry woodiness, and ambroxan a clean, radiant lift.
The sources disagree, and we’d rather say so. The official Arabiyat Prestige listing (on My Perfumes, the brand’s parent) gives bergamot, petitgrain and ginger; geranium, tea and incense; guaiac wood, ambroxan and musk. The two versions share bergamot, ginger, tea, incense/olibanum, guaiac wood and ambroxan. The pyramid above is Fragrantica’s, which is the one reviewers describe.

Marwa vs Louis Vuitton Imagination
Fragrantica’s pyramid for Imagination (2021, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud) is citron, bergamot and orange; neroli, ginger and cinnamon; black tea, ambroxan, guaiac wood and olibanum. Marwa’s Fragrantica pyramid matches all but one of those, with lemon where Imagination has citron.

Our grade: A−. Many named reviewers compare it to Imagination, backed by a near-identical note list; the brand itself makes no claim.
What named reviewers said. On Marwa’s Fragrantica page, Borna1998 puts the drydown at “90-95% similar” to Imagination; Carcinoma says they “can’t tell the difference in the dry-down”; 6mcdonaldjack calls it “the closest dupe to imagination on the market”; and Frag Brah writes that “in the air… they’re almost identical”. That is a lot of agreement, but it is still individual opinion, and several of the same reviewers note that the opening and heart are less refined than the original. Arabiyat Prestige has no affiliation with Louis Vuitton, and Marwa is its own composition in a shared style.
Performance — What Wearers Report
Across Fragrantica, 3 to 5 hours on skin is the figure wearers report most often, but individual reports range from rini88’s “1-2 hours” to SomethingEdgy still detecting it “10 hours after applying”. A reviewer on the brand’s own store reports 3–4 hours on skin and 5–6 on clothing. Several wearers say it improves after the bottle has rested for a few weeks. Two or three sprays, plus one on fabric, is the sensible approach.

Good to Know Before You Buy
- Give a new bottle time. Several wearers say Marwa smells thinner in the first days and improves after a few weeks of resting (maceration).
- The ginger can bite at first. A few wearers find the first minutes sharp before it settles into tea and woods.
- An office scent, not a statement. It is versatile, clean and polished, which is exactly the point.
- Don’t overspray early. The ambroxan carries further than the opening suggests.
- Anyone can wear it. It is marketed to men, but bright citrus and dry tea sit comfortably on anyone.
Why Buy Marwa From Khaleej Scents
Every bottle we sell is genuine Arabiyat Prestige, sourced from authorised distributors. Any scent this widely compared to a designer original attracts counterfeits and refills on marketplaces, so buying from a legitimate UK stockist matters. We check every note list against the brand’s own listing and independent sources such as Fragrantica, and we describe performance from what wearers consistently report rather than from our own lab claims.
