Bujairami Lucid Dream — Fragrance Du Bois Lucius, Minus the Vetiver
Pink Pepper · Bergamot · Mandarin · Cedarwood · Orange Blossom · Amber · Tonka Bean — 100ml Extrait de Parfum, 100% authentic, free UK delivery.
If Hectic is the Bujairami you wear to be noticed and Mad Love the one you wear to be remembered, Lucid Dream is the one you wear because you already know who you are. Seven notes: pink pepper, bergamot and mandarin up top; clean cedarwood and orange blossom in the heart; amber and tonka glowing close to the skin. No oud, no smoke, nothing challenging — just a well-blended modern woody amber that smells more expensive than it is.
The brand names its reference: Bujairami sells it as “Lucid Dream Inspired By Lucius Fragrance Du Bois”. Lucius (2024, Jordi Fernandez) is Fragrance Du Bois’s first male-focused parfum, and its UK site lists it at £320 for 100ml.
The top and heart are identical to Lucius. The one real difference is in the base — Lucius has vetiver, Lucid Dream does not — and we explain below what that changes. Bujairami has no affiliation with Fragrance Du Bois.

Seven Notes, Three Tiers
Bujairami’s published pyramid. Lucid Dream is not yet listed on Fragrantica.
Bergamot gives the clean, slightly bitter Mediterranean foundation; mandarin sweetens it with juicy roundness; pink pepper adds a gentle, faintly floral fizz that bridges into the heart. Immediately likeable.
Cedarwood is clean and dry, like fresh pencil shavings — structured without weight. Orange blossom adds a luminous, gently soapy floral softness so the cedar never reads austere.
Amber — clean and radiant rather than syrupy — gives golden warmth; tonka adds a creamy, almond-vanilla softness. They sit close and glow rather than project: the kind of drydown that makes someone lean in and ask what you are wearing.

Lucid Dream vs Fragrance Du Bois Lucius
Fragrantica lists seven notes for Lucius; six of them are in Lucid Dream. Fragrance Du Bois’s own listing also includes tonka — which Lucid Dream has — so the only note Lucid Dream truly lacks is vetiver.

Our grade: B+. Brand-stated, and the opening and heart match exactly. Two things hold it below an A. The missing vetiver changes the landing: Lucius finishes drier and earthier, Lucid Dream creamier and softer. And there is no independent side-by-side evidence yet — Lucid Dream is not on Fragrantica and we have not found named reviewers comparing the two. If you loved Lucius specifically for its dry, rooty finish, expect this to read a shade sweeter.
Performance — Honestly
There are not yet enough wearer reports on Lucid Dream to publish an hours figure. What its structure tells you: the citrus goes first, and the amber-tonka base is built to sit softly close to the skin rather than fill a room. That quietness is intentional.

Good to Know Before You Buy
- It is quiet on purpose. After the first hour it becomes a skin scent — ideal for close company, not for filling a room.
- The easiest first Bujairami. Nothing polarising: no oud, smoke or heavy sweetness.
- Works all year. Best in spring and autumn; perfectly wearable in summer and winter.
- If you want Lucius’s dry finish, note the vetiver gap. Lucid Dream lands softer and sweeter.
