Bujairami Tigris is the clean one. No oud, no vanilla, no sugar — just bitter grapefruit, dry ginger and a skin-like musk, sitting on ambroxan and vetiver. It is the bottle in the Bujairami range you can wear on a Tuesday morning without anyone at the next desk noticing anything except that you smell well put together.
The brand is open about the reference. Bujairami sells it on its own site as “Tigris Inspired by Tygar Bvlgari”, and the product text names Le Gemme Tygar Extrait. What is interesting is that Tigris’s published pyramid lines up almost exactly with the original 2016 Tygar Eau de Parfum, not with the newer, more balsamic Extrait. We set that out below, because it tells you which Tygar you are really getting the idea of.

How Tigris Is Built
Nine notes across three tiers, exactly as Bujairami publishes them. Tigris does not yet have its own Fragrantica entry, so the brand’s listing is the reference here.
Three citrus notes, deliberately unsweetened. Lemon gives the sharp first hit, bergamot rounds it, and grapefruit supplies the character — bitter, a little rindy, the note that separates a grown-up citrus from a shower gel.
A two-note heart doing precise work. Ginger is dry and fizzy rather than hot, stretching the brightness of the citrus. Ambrette is a plant-derived musk with a faintly nutty, powdery skin quality — it is what turns Tigris from a citrus into a citrus-musk.
The modern clean-woody template. Ambroxan gives a mineral, ambery radiance; musk the just-washed finish; patchouli and vetiver add an earthy, rooty counterweight so the drydown has texture rather than being a flat wall of ambroxan.

Tigris vs Bvlgari Tygar — Which Tygar, and How Close?
There are two Bvlgari Tygars, and it matters which one you compare against. The original Le Gemme Tygar Eau de Parfum (2016, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud) is listed on Fragrantica as grapefruit; ginger and ambrette; ambroxan, musk, vetiver and patchouli. The newer Le Gemme Tygar Extrait (2025) is a warmer, balsamic take built around grapefruit, ambergris, amber and Peru balsam. Bujairami’s product text names the Extrait, but Tigris’s notes match the Eau de Parfum.

Every Tygar EDP note appears in Tigris; Tigris adds lemon and bergamot.
Our grade: B+. The brand states the inspiration itself, and on paper the match with the original Tygar Eau de Parfum is complete — every note Fragrantica lists for it appears in Tigris. What holds it back from an A is evidence on skin: Tigris has no Fragrantica page and no body of named reviewer comparisons yet, and the Tygar Bujairami actually names (the 2025 Extrait) is a noticeably warmer, more resinous scent. If you love the original bright, ambroxan-heavy Tygar, this is the direction. If you want the amber-balsam richness of the Extrait, look at something warmer.
Tygar Eau de Parfum is rated 4.45 out of 5 from more than 4,600 votes on Fragrantica, which tells you the blueprint itself is well loved. Bujairami has no affiliation with Bvlgari.
Performance — Honest Numbers Only
Citrus is the most fleeting family in perfumery, so the grapefruit will fade first whatever the concentration. After that, the ambroxan, musk and vetiver base carries a clean skin scent. How long that lasts on real wearers has not been reported in useful numbers yet, so there is no hours figure on this page.

Good to Know Before You Buy
- It is deliberately quiet. Tigris is designed to smell clean and well groomed, not to fill a room. If you want compliments from across a bar, Rizz is the louder choice.
- The grapefruit is bitter, not sweet. If your idea of citrus is sherbet or orange sweets, this will feel dry.
- Office-safe by design. Low-drama citrus-musk is the easiest profile to wear in shared spaces. Two sprays is plenty in an extrait.
- Not the Tygar Extrait. If what you loved was the 2025 Extrait’s warm amber-balsam, Tigris will read brighter and thinner by comparison.
- 100ml only. Bujairami does not make a smaller size of Tigris.
