Seasons Rise opens brighter than it finishes. A quick flash of orange blossom and pink pepper, then nutmeg and orris turn it warm and powdery, and within a quarter of an hour the sugar arrives: cinnamon over caramel, caramel over toffee, thickening into praline and vanilla. Clary sage keeps it from going syrupy; ambroxan and amber push it outward. It is a cold-weather amber gourmand, and it does not whisper.
It is also one of the best-rated Riiffs on Fragrantica — 4.70 out of 5 from 398 votes — and much of that attention comes from one comparison. Riiffs makes no “inspired by” claim, but reviewer after reviewer names Armani’s Stronger With You line, most often Stronger With You Parfum. Not to be confused with Seasons Drift, its sibling — a fresh lemon, grapefruit and cedar scent that shares nothing with this bottle but the name.
The Scent Pyramid at a Glance

Thin, bright orange blossom and fizzy pink pepper for a minute or two, then nutmeg’s warm brown spice and orris’s cool powder take over. The whole phase is short — come back after twenty minutes and it has gone.
This is the fragrance. Sweet cinnamon sits inside the caramel rather than on top of it, toffee adds a burnt, slightly bitter backbone, and clary sage cuts across the sugar so it reads as perfume rather than pudding. Unapologetically sweet — if you dislike sweet scents, no phase of this will suit you.
Praline and vanilla bean carry the sweetness down; cashmeran adds a fuzzy warm-woody texture and ambroxan a dry, mineral reach. It is the high-impact amber-gourmand base many modern flankers use — durable, familiar and less individual than the heart.
Why we don’t use Riiffs’ own list: Riiffs’ UAE site gives Seasons Rise a pyramid of bergamot, saffron, orange and candy over jasmine, violet and blackcurrant — and publishes the identical list, word for word, for Seasons Drift, a completely different citrus scent. Two fragrances cannot share one pyramid, so we treat it as template text and follow Fragrantica, whose listing matches the independent retailer listings note for note.

Seasons Rise vs Armani Stronger With You Parfum — What Matches, What Doesn’t
Stronger With You Parfum (2025) lists eight notes on Fragrantica. Four appear in Seasons Rise; the big one that doesn’t is the Armani’s sugared-chestnut accord.

What do reviewers say? On Seasons Rise’s Fragrantica page, the Stronger With You comparison is the single most common theme. scentedwater03 calls it a “bang on dupe of stronger with you parfum” that “opens up nearly identical to SWY Parfum”; nickc1969 says it “opens up smelling identical to swy parfum”; Nemac_green, who owns both, says it is “like 95% the same” as SWY Sandalwood; sennies puts it at “90% similar to SWY Intensely” in the opening. Others are more measured — mozoru: “that SWY vibe but definitely it is doing its own thing”.
The honest reading: reviewers agree it lives in Stronger With You territory, but disagree about which Stronger With You — Parfum, Intensely and Sandalwood are all named. The notes explain why: it shares the pink pepper, cinnamon, sage and vanilla, but swaps Armani’s chestnut and leather for caramel, toffee and praline. We grade the likeness B+. Performance — What Wearers Report
From named Fragrantica reviewers, not our own claims: PetrichorKing and I_know_fragrances report about 6 hours, Sovanypeti13 7–8 hours, Tonybee95 “8+ hours”, and scentedwater03 “10+ hours on skin” and “on clothes for literally days”. A couple of more extreme claims (24 hours, “days on skin”) are outliers we have left out.
Wear it in autumn and winter, in the evening and in cold air: sweet spiced ambers need cool weather, and heat pushes the caramel towards cloying. At two sprays it fills a room, so keep it to one in the office, or save it for evenings.

- Rise is not Drift. The two Seasons bottles are constantly mixed up. Rise is the sweet, heavy cold-weather one; Drift is fresh citrus.
- It is loud by design. One spray for close company, two for a cold evening out. More than that fills a room.
- Leans masculine in practice. Riiffs labels it differently on different sites, but the Stronger With You comparison tells you who most wearers are.
- Spray fabric to dial down the sugar. On clothing, the caramel sits flatter and the drier ambroxan-cashmeran base comes forward.
