“Nafais” means precious, and Khadlaj Nafais Sharq smells the part: creamy gardenia and apricot, a soft pear-and-freesia heart, and a warm base of bourbon vanilla, musk and amber. Many wearers describe it as an expensive floral body lotion — in the best way.
Khadlaj makes no inspiration claim for it. Wearers, however, compare it to two scents again and again: Bvlgari’s Allegra Baciami, the gardenia-vanilla-amber that costs £231, and Lattafa’s Gharam, the budget favourite in the same creamy lane. On paper, this is one of the neatest matches we have seen: Baciami lists just three notes, and all three appear in Nafais Sharq. On skin, wearers are more divided, and we set out both sides below.
The Nafais Sharq Pyramid
Fragrantica’s pyramid is shown below. Khadlaj’s own listing is almost identical but adds “tree blossoms” to the top — the only difference between the two sources.
Creamy gardenia straight away, softened by juicy apricot and a veil of vanilla. Rich and luminous rather than sharp — the part that reminds people of Baciami.
Pear adds a crisp, watery sweetness, freesia keeps things airy, and white wood gives just enough structure to stop the creaminess going flat.
The skin-close finish. Bourbon vanilla, soft musk and warm amber — the “expensive body lotion” effect wearers describe.

Baciami’s Fragrantica pyramid is famously simple: gardenia, vanilla, amber. Nafais Sharq contains all three, then adds fruit and musk around them.

What wearers say. On Fragrantica, Kara C calls it “a one-to-one dupe of Bulgari Baciami” and Sabrina_A finds it “almost IDENTICAL” — “so creamy, fruity but still very sophisticated”. But Ella_CaMar, who compared the two on skin, found the opening matched while the drydown had a “screechy, synthetic musk”, and EmmBee found it “sour” next to Baciami’s refinement. On the Gharam side, Sunnybelle says Gharam is “more complex and vibrant, while Nafais Sharq is more dry, somewhat powdery”, and Just1Sniff notes Gharam is more gourmand. Strong praise, real dissent: B+.

Performance — What Wearers Report
Not our lab numbers. On Fragrantica, linmorning describes “a gentle, comforting scent bubble” lasting five to six hours; poodle77 and tortora08 both report a couple of hours of projection before it becomes a creamy skin scent; Alohalani calls performance “strong” but “not beast mode”; and antoniafiore found it weak on their skin. Expect a soft, personal scent rather than a room-filler.
