Khadlaj Shiyaaka Snow — The Closest Khadlaj Gets to a Designer Twin

Mandarin Orange · Citrus · Bergamot · Neroli · Nutmeg · Pink Pepper · Indonesian Vetiver · Cardamom — 100ml Eau de Parfum, 100% authentic, free UK delivery.

Of all the “what is it a dupe of?” questions asked about Khadlaj, this is the one with the strongest answer. Khadlaj Shiyaaka Snow is the fragrance that reviewers most often say they cannot tell apart from its designer counterpart — Louis Vuitton’s Météore — and it is the only Khadlaj in our Khadlaj dupes guide to earn a straight A.

It is a clean, bright citrus-aromatic: mandarin and bergamot up top, a soft spicy heart of neroli, nutmeg and pink pepper, and a dry base of Indonesian vetiver and cardamom. It launched in 2025 in Khadlaj’s Shiyaaka Special Edition tier as the fresh, daytime counterpart to the darker Shiyaaka Shadow.

Two honest caveats up front. Khadlaj sells it as an original and makes no “inspired by” claim — the Météore comparison comes from wearers, not the brand. And it is not a powerhouse: the same reviewers who praise the likeness often mention modest projection. We set out both below.

Shiyaaka Snow Notes, Tier by Tier

Khadlaj’s own listing and Fragrantica agree on every note. Fragrantica places cardamom in the base alongside vetiver, exactly as Khadlaj does.

Juicy rather than sharp. Mandarin gives the opening a gentle sweetness and bergamot rounds it out, with a cool, clean quality underneath that earns the name.

Where it stops being a simple citrus. Neroli brings the just-showered orange-flower cleanliness; nutmeg and pink pepper add a quiet, dry spice that keeps it from reading as soap.

A short, effective drydown. Vetiver gives an earthy, rooty grip and cardamom adds a warm aromatic softness — the reason the freshness does not simply vanish after half an hour.

Shiyaaka Snow vs Louis Vuitton Météore — Note for Note

This is the rare comparison where the paper evidence is as strong as the wearer evidence. Météore’s published list has nine notes; seven of them appear in Shiyaaka Snow’s pyramid.

What wearers say. On Fragrantica, reviewer ashed calls it “so close to Meteore it’s laughable” and says the two are identical; abaw1600 puts it at 95% and says “after 30 mins you won’t tell a difference”; token says 90%; and ismellgoodtbh says it “smells exactly like Meteore but very weak and very soft”. Several named reviewers landing between 90% and 95% — and others reporting that people could not tell their wrists apart — is why this is the only Khadlaj we grade A.

The honest caveat is performance, not likeness: the most common complaint is that Snow is softer and shorter-lived than Météore, and a minority of reviewers dislike a “baby wipes” or “rubber gloves” facet in the drydown. We have not shown a price comparison because we could not confirm a current UK price on Louis Vuitton’s own site. Khadlaj has no affiliation with Louis Vuitton; Météore is named only to help you place the scent.

Performance — Honest Numbers From Wearers

ConcentrationEau de Parfum
Wearer-reported longevityAround 4–5 hours on skin
ProjectionSoft; strongest in the first 30–60 minutes

Not our lab numbers. Fragrantica wearers repeatedly report around four to five hours on skin, with some seeing six or more after the bottle has rested. On projection, DebugStix says it projects “only for the first 30 mins to an hour” and Chmohsin calls it “a bit weak”. Citrus is the least durable material family in perfumery, so this is normal for the style — two or three sprays and a top-up at lunch is the practical answer.

Good to Know Before You Buy

  • It is a daytime, warm-weather scent. Spring and summer, office and commute. In deep winter it can feel thin — that is Shadow‘s season.
  • Expect soft projection. The likeness to Météore is strong; the volume is not. Plan on a midday top-up.
  • Not everyone loves the drydown. A minority of wearers pick up a “baby wipes” facet as it settles. Most describe it as clean and fresh.
  • Snow and Shadow are different fragrances. There is no “Shiyaaka Shadow Snow”, and Shiyaaka is a Khadlaj line, not Lattafa.
  • 100ml only. The Special Edition tier has no smaller size.

Why Buy Shiyaaka Snow From Khaleej Scents

Every bottle is genuine Khadlaj, sourced from authorised distribution and sealed. We check every note list against the brand’s own listing and independent sources such as Fragrantica, and we describe performance from what wearers consistently report rather than from our own lab claims — so if a scent is soft, we say so before you buy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tap a question to open the answer.

What is Khadlaj Shiyaaka Snow a dupe of?
Louis Vuitton Météore. Seven of Météore’s nine published notes appear in Shiyaaka Snow, and several named Fragrantica reviewers put it at 90 to 95% similar. It is the only Khadlaj we grade A. Khadlaj does not claim the inspiration and has no affiliation with Louis Vuitton.
Is Shiyaaka Snow as good as Louis Vuitton Météore?
On scent, many reviewers say it is very close — one says after 30 minutes you won’t tell a difference. On performance, Météore is generally stronger and longer-lasting; Snow is softer.
How long does Shiyaaka Snow last?
Fragrantica wearers most often report around four to five hours on skin, with projection strongest for the first 30 to 60 minutes. Some report longer after the bottle has rested. It is a citrus-led EDP, so a top-up is sensible.
What are the Shiyaaka Snow notes?
Top: mandarin orange, citrus, bergamot. Heart: neroli, nutmeg, pink pepper. Base: Indonesian vetiver oil, cardamom. Khadlaj’s listing and Fragrantica agree.
Is Shiyaaka Snow for men or unisex?
Khadlaj markets it for men, but Fragrantica lists it for women and men and nothing in the citrus, neroli and vetiver composition is gendered.
Shiyaaka Snow vs Shiyaaka Shadow — what is the difference?
Snow is the bright citrus-aromatic for warm days and the office. Shadow is the darker pepper, amber and moss scent for evenings and cold weather. Both are 100ml Special Edition EDPs at £29.99.
Is Shiyaaka Snow good for summer?
Yes — spring and summer are where it shines. The vetiver and cardamom base lets it work on cool autumn days too.
How much is Khadlaj Shiyaaka Snow in the UK?
£29.99 for 100ml Eau de Parfum at Khaleej Scents, with free UK delivery on every order.
