Lattafa Najdia is a bright citrus opening that turns warm and spiced: grapefruit and mandarin first, then cinnamon, rose and spice, settling on amber, leather, patchouli and woods, according to Lattafa. Wearers mostly describe it as fresh and easy-going, a sensible everyday scent for either gender. 100ml Eau de Parfum, £12.99, free UK delivery.

Lattafa Najdia: Fresh Citrus With a Warm, Spiced Finish

Najdia is one of the longest-running names in the Lattafa catalogue, and one of the cheapest ways into it. Fragrantica dates it to 2020. It opens bright and citrusy, turns warmer and spicier as cinnamon comes through, and settles on an ambery, woody base. Most people who wear it describe it the same way: fresh, clean, easy, and far better than its price suggests. It sits in our Lattafa perfumes collection as the budget everyday option, a bottle you can wear to work, at the weekend and on holiday without thinking too hard about it.

There is one complication worth knowing about, and we explain it properly below: Lattafa and Fragrantica publish noticeably different note lists for Najdia.

The Scent Profile

Top — grapefruit, mandarin. A juicy, sunny citrus opening. Grapefruit adds a slightly bitter edge, and mandarin keeps it round and sweet. It is the brightest part of the fragrance and the part most wearers remember first.

Heart — spicy notes, rose, cinnamon. The warmth starts here. Cinnamon is the note both sources agree on, and it gives Najdia a soft, spiced glow that stops it being a simple citrus. In Lattafa’s version, rose sits alongside it and adds a light floral roundness.

Base — amber, leather, patchouli, woody notes. The dry-down is warm and woody rather than sweet. Amber is the common thread with Fragrantica’s list; leather and patchouli, as Lattafa lists them, add a slightly darker, more grown-up edge.

Why the two sources disagree. The pyramid above is Lattafa’s own, which is why we lead with it. Fragrantica’s entry lists something fresher: lemon, apple, cinnamon, bergamot and lemongrass on top; watery notes, lavender, cardamom and rosemary in the heart; musk, amber, sandalwood, cedar and tobacco in the base. The two lists share citrus, cinnamon, amber and woods, and not much else. Wearer reviews mostly describe the fresh, aromatic, slightly aquatic character that Fragrantica’s list suggests, and Lattafa’s own site also calls Najdia “aromatic aquatic”. So the manufacturer’s pyramid is the official one, but expect the bottle to wear fresher and cleaner than “rose and leather” might suggest. We would rather show you both than pretend they match.

How It Compares — the Honest Version

Lattafa does not name an inspiration for Najdia. The comparison comes from wearers: Fragrantica reviewers often compare it to Paco Rabanne Invictus, and some also mention Rasasi Hawas, YSL Y and Al Haramain Detour Noir. The shared ground is the style, a sweet-fresh, aromatic, slightly aquatic citrus of the kind that has dominated mainstream men’s fragrance for a decade.

Where it differs, according to those same reviewers, is sweetness and emphasis. Several describe Najdia as a little more aromatic and less sugary than the fragrances it gets compared to, and some pick out a bubblegum-like sweetness in the opening that is Najdia’s own. It is a family resemblance, not a copy, and we would not sell it to anyone as a like-for-like replacement for Invictus.

Lattafa Perfumes is an independent UAE house with no affiliation to, licence from, or endorsement by Paco Rabanne, Rasasi, YSL, Al Haramain or any other brand named here. We name them only to help you place the style.

Performance & When To Wear

Performance at a Glance
Based on the pattern in Fragrantica reviews — not our own figures
LONGEVITY · moderate to good — most reviewers report 6–8 hours
SILLAGE · varies — intimate to strong, depends on how many sprays
OFFICE SAFE · yes — fresh and inoffensive
VERSATILITY · daytime, casual, holidays — best spring and summer
BEST SEASONS
Spring ●●●Summer ●●●Autumn ●●○Winter ●○○

Fragrantica reviewers report anywhere from four to ten hours, with most settling on six to eight. That is good for a fresh citrus at this price. Sillage reports vary more: several people find the atomiser sprays lightly, and say that projection improves noticeably with an extra spray or two. Performance also seems to vary with skin and with batch, so treat these as typical figures rather than a promise.

Najdia is a warm-weather, daytime fragrance first. Reviewers consistently put it in spring and summer and describe it as easy to wear: suitable for the office, the gym bag, travel and weekends. The warm base means it does not fall apart on a cool day, but it is not the bottle for a winter evening.

Who It’s For

Najdia is for anyone who wants a dependable, fresh everyday scent and does not want to spend much on one. If you like the sweet-fresh citrus style that Invictus made popular, it is a very cheap way to wear that mood, with the proviso above that it is its own fragrance. Lattafa and Fragrantica both list it as unisex, and there is nothing in the composition that stops anyone wearing it, though most reviewers who describe it treat it as a masculine-leaning fresh scent.

Skip it if you want something dark, resinous or distinctive; this is a crowd-pleaser, not a statement.

How It Compares With the Other Houses We Stock

If you like Najdia’s mix of citrus and warm spice but want more polish, Arabiyat Prestige Marwa (£39.99) is the natural step up. It also pairs bright citrus with a touch of cinnamon, but adds ginger and neroli, and finishes on smoky black tea, olibanum and guaiac wood, which gives it a noticeably more refined, expensive-smelling dry-down. Najdia is the simpler, sweeter everyday option; Marwa is the one for when you want to smell put-together.

For a cleaner, cooler take on the fresh-citrus brief, Khadlaj Shiyaaka Snow (£29.99) swaps Najdia’s warmth for mandarin and bergamot over neroli, pink pepper, vetiver and cardamom: less sweet, more soapy-fresh, and very office-friendly.

Enjoy Najdia? These Share Its Cinnamon Warmth

Najdia’s cinnamon runs through several Lattafa scents. Hayaati (£14.99) pairs cinnamon with apple and musk, lighter and cleaner than Najdia’s amber base. Qaed Al Fursan Untamed (£11.99) mixes cinnamon with caramel and frankincense for a sweeter, smokier result. For full-on richness, Khamrah (£22.99) layers cinnamon with dates and praline, a dessert-like choice for cold evenings. Find more in our Lattafa perfumes range.

Lattafa Najdia FAQs

What does Lattafa Najdia smell like?

Bright and fresh at first, with juicy citrus, then warmer as cinnamon and spice come through, settling on an ambery, woody base. Most wearers describe the overall effect as clean, sweet-fresh and slightly aromatic: an easy, cheerful everyday scent rather than a heavy Arabian one.

What are the full Najdia notes?

Lattafa lists top: grapefruit, mandarin; heart: spicy notes, rose, cinnamon; base: amber, leather, patchouli, woody notes. Fragrantica lists a fresher pyramid with lemon, apple, bergamot, lemongrass, lavender, cardamom, rosemary, watery notes, musk, sandalwood, cedar and tobacco. They agree on citrus, cinnamon, amber and woods. We lead with Lattafa’s, as the manufacturer’s own.

Is Lattafa Najdia a dupe of Invictus?

Lattafa does not say so. Fragrantica reviewers often compare it to Paco Rabanne Invictus, and sometimes to Rasasi Hawas and YSL Y, because it shares that sweet-fresh aromatic style. Reviewers also note differences, finding it more aromatic and less sugary. Treat it as a similar mood at a fraction of the price, not a replica. Lattafa has no affiliation with Paco Rabanne.

How long does Najdia last?

Fragrantica reviewers report four to ten hours, most commonly six to eight. Projection varies; several find an extra spray helps, as the atomiser is light.

Is Najdia for men or women?

Both Lattafa and Fragrantica list it as unisex. In practice most reviewers treat it as a fresh, masculine-leaning scent, but nothing in it stops anyone wearing it.

How much is Lattafa Najdia in the UK?

£12.99 for the 100ml Eau de Parfum at Khaleej Scents, with free UK delivery and no minimum spend.

Is this the same as Najdia Intense or Oud Najdia?

No. Najdia Intense and Oud Najdia are separate Lattafa releases with their own compositions, not stronger versions of this one. This listing is the original Najdia Eau de Parfum. Check the name carefully if you have one of the others in mind.

Notes verified against Lattafa’s own product listing and Fragrantica in September 2026. The two sources publish different pyramids; we lead with Lattafa’s, as the manufacturer’s, and show Fragrantica’s alongside it. Launch year is from Fragrantica, which shows no perfumer. Performance reflects the pattern across Fragrantica reviews, not our own measurements. The Invictus comparison is reviewers’, not the brand’s. Written by Shaheen Shah Abrar, Khaleej Scents.
